power supply to the motor by 70%. The speed controller will turn off the power supply to the
motor after 10 seconds.
Please note that this monitoring refers to the overall voltage of the battery pack, i.e. the pro-
grammed threshold value times the number of cells.
Never shut off the undervoltage protection if you are using LiPo batteries!
If you are using the (optional) programming card, you can set the interrupting voltage in steps
of 0.1V.
Adjusting the start-up behaviour ("punch")
Presetting:
level 5
Selection:
levels 1-9
Depending on the driving style and ability, the start-up behaviour of the motor and thus the
start-up behaviour of the model can be set from "soft" to "very aggressive". For a "very aggres-
sive" punch (starting at level 7), you will need a high-quality, high-current capable battery with
low internal resistance and a high discharge current with steady output voltage.
Low-quality batteries cannot provide the current for aggressive punch fast enough which will
result in a cogging motor during the start.
Setting the maximum braking strength
Presetting:
75%
Selection:
25%, 50%, 75%, 100%
The speed controller distributes the brake force proportionally across the entire lever path. The
maximum braking action starts at the rear end point of the accelerator/brake lever. A high
brake force reduces the brake path but strains the differentials.
Setting the reverse speed
Presetting:
25%
Selection:
25%, 50%, 75%, 100%
Choose from four steps between 25% and 100% of the final speed for driving forward.
