INTENDED USE

The 3M ™ Glare-Reducing Task Light is intended for indoor offi ce use, using only 3M Replacement
Bulb, TL27W and standard 120V AC power. This task light has not been tested with non-3M brand
bulbs, operated at different voltages or used outdoors. Each of these misuses could damage the
light and/or create unsafe operating conditions.
WARNING
To reduce the risks associated with hazardous voltage which, if not avoided, could result in death
or serious injury and/or property damage:

—use indoors and in dry locations only; keep all liquids away from the task light.
—do not alter or modify the light, the ground plug or the polarized plug blades.
—plug the task light into a grounded, polarized electrical outlet; contact a
qualifi ed electrician if a polarized outlet is not available.
—do not use the task light if the power cord or the enclosure is damaged.
—if an extension cord is used, ensure that it is properly rated for your application.
—turn power switch to "off" and unplug from electrical outlet before replacing
bulb; always handle bulb with care.
—do not attempt to disassemble the task light; product is to be serviced by
qualifi ed service personnel only—there are no user serviceable parts inside.
