Changing the cutting-depth
The revolving depth-stop (9) is prepared and marked with six different positions. The marks "S",
"D" and "MAX" stand for the dowel-sizes "Simplex", "Duplex" and "MAX", which are not that
popular.
The setting-screw has to be adjusted once with the mark "0" on the depth-stop, to reach a
cutting-depth of 8,0 mm. The other required cutting-depths will be reached by turning the depth-
stop in the relevant positions.
Adjusting the cutting-depth
• Before adjusting the cutting-depth, you have to disconnect the machine from the
power-supply.
• Set the depth-stop to position "O" and set the swivel-plate to 90°.
• Push the motor-part forward as far as it will go and turn the router-blade, until one tooth has
reached its front position.
• Measure the distance between the edge of the base-plate and end of the cutting tooth; it
must be 8 mm in position "0".
• In order to correct the cutting-depth loosen the counter-nut and turn the set-screw, as
required. Re-tighten the counter-nut.
Setting the cutting-depth
• The revolving depth-stop is marked "0", "10", "20", "S", "D" and "MAX" according to the sizes
of the dowels.
• Turn the depth-stop, until the required mark is located beside the arrow on the topside.
• Due to different steps on the depth-stop, the cutting-depth is set automatically.
Setting the cutting-angle
• Unlock the clamping-lever of the swivel-plate (16).
• Set the swivel-plate (12) with aid of the scale (1) to the required angle.
• Re-fasten the clamping-lever (16).
Setting the thickness of the material
In order to cut the grooves for the biscuit-dowels centrically, the machine has to be pre-set to
the thickness of the material used.
• Before starting your work, check the correct thickness of the used material.
• Unlock the clamping-lever for the height-adjustment (11).
• Turn the height adjustment knob (2) as long as the arrow has reached half of the material-
height on the scale.
• Re-fasten the clamping-lever (11).
Switch on/off
• Push the switch-lock (7) and the On/Off-switch (6) at the same time.
• To switch off the machine, release the On/Off-switch (6).
