Drilling holes on the surface
Use the chuck adaptor CMT400-1 with a drill bit for 7mm diameter through holes!
Tighten the metal stop ring in the hole at the system edge. Position the template on the work piece so
that the end stop is touching the front edge of the work piece and surface A of the template is pointed
towards the opposite side of the work piece (Fig. 11).
Now tighten the chuck adaptor using the clamps. Set the drilling depth on the chuck adaptor. Insert
the chuck adaptor with its respective drill bit in the holes and start drilling the dowel holes (Fig. 11).
Drill deep holes gradually so that chips can be removed. Make certain the drill rotates in the correct
direction – these are right-hand bits.
