OPERATION
The radio can be powered using 230 V mains power or batteries (not supplied).
Connect the AC power cord to the mains socket or install the batteries as follows.
1. Remove the battery door located at the rear of the unit.
2. Insert four batteries observing the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery door.
Listening to the radio
1. Turn the VOLUME/ON/OFF knob clockwise to turn the radio on.
2. Slide the band selector to the desired waveband.
3. Turn the tuning knob to tune in to the desired station.
4. When playing FM or SW stations, fully extend the telescopic aerial for optimal reception.
5. When playing LW or AM stations, turn the unit slowly until the best reception is obtained.
6. Adjust the volume control to the desired level.
7. To turn off the radio, turn the VOLUME/ON/OFF knob anticlockwise until a click is heard.
AUX IN
1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied) to the AUX IN jack at the side of the apparatus and audio
output jack of your external audio device.
2. Turn on your audio device and the sound will be heard through the speaker of the apparatus.
3. Adjust the volume level of the apparatus as desired.
