IMPORTANT SAFETY CAUTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed. These include the following:

Read all instructions.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or sand-
wich maker into water or any other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.

Keep the toaster and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years. Children shall not play with the appliance. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Do not use the appliance for unintended use.

Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning the ap-
pliance. Allow to cool down before putting on or taking off parts and
before cleaning the appliance.

If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by
an authorized technical service in order to avoid a hazard.

After the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.
Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for exa-
mination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

To reduce the risk of injury, use only accessory attachments if recom-
mended by the appliance manufacturer.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not let cord hang over sharp edges of a table or counter, or touch
hot surfaces.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.

The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below
combustible material, such as curtains, upholstery or other decora-
tive fabrics, as they can easily catch fire and cause a safety hazard.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufactu-
rer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid
a hazard.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer or seperate remote- control system.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervisi-
on or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved
