2.3. TROUBLESHOOTING

if the shutter release button on the Selfie Stick does not take a
photo on your smartphone, please try the following:
• Check to see if the ShutterStick Selfie's cable is fully inserted
into the headphone jack of your smartphone. if your phone is
in a case, take the smartphone out and try connecting again.
• Check the ShutterStick Selfie with another smartphone to
see if it is working properly.
• Check to see if the buttons on the side of the smartphone
are being pressed down by the phone bracket. re-adjust the
bracket if needed.
• Check to see if the "Press" button on the rubber sleeve is
making proper contact with the shutter release micro-switch
underneath it. if it has rotated or shifted, gently rotate the
rubber sleeve until it makes good contact.
• If you are having issues with an Android phone, please review
the section of the manual for Android phones on the opposite
side of this insert.
• Check the smartphone's OS version and make sure that it
meets the minimum requirements as shown above.
