Scale removal
Depending on how often the unit is used and how hard the water used for disinfecting is, scale may
develop on the heating plate on the unit floor. To ensure the unit is operating correctly, these deposits
must be removed regularly.
nOTe:
We recommend using household vinegar to remove light scale deposits. In case of heavy scale
deposits, a standard scale solvent must be used – be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Removing scale deposits with vinegar: Mix 100 ml of hot water with 100 ml of vinegar
and pour the mixture onto the heating plate. Wait approximately 30 minutes, then pour out the
mixture (do not turn the unit on). Then rinse the unit and wipe with a damp cloth.
Important: Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents.
