BEFORE FIRST USE
• Read all the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
• Remove all packaging material.
• Clean the Cooking Plates by wiping with a sponge or cloth dampened in warm water.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE AND DO NOT RUN WATER DIRECTLY ONTO THE COOKING
SURFACES.
• Dry with a cloth or paper towel.
• For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with a little cooking oil or cooking spray.
Notice: When your appliance is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is
normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your appliance.
SANDWICH MAKER USE
• Close the sandwich maker and plug it into the wall outlet. The ready light will come on, indicating that the
Grill Toaster has begun preheating.
• It takes approximately 3 minutes to reach baking temperature and the ready light will go off.
• Open the appliance, put the sandwich, meat or other food on the bottom cooking plate.
• Close the appliance. The ready light will go on again.
• Cook for about 3 to 8 minutes, the ready light goes off again, or until golden brown. You can adjust the
time to suit your own individual taste.
• When the food is cooked use the handle to open the lid. Remove the food with a plastic spatula. Do not
use metal tongs or a knife as these can cause damage to the non-stick coating of the cooking plates.
• When you finish cooking, unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and leave it open to cool.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Always unplug the appliance and let it cool before cleaning it. The appliance is easier to clean when it is
slightly warm. There is no need to disassemble the appliance for cleaning. Never immerse the appliance into
water or place it in a dishwasher.
