FITTING ACCESSORIES OF NON PHOTO-ELECTRIC WASH-HAND BASINS
y Install the swan neck as shown in the diagram (Fig. 1). Screw attach the flexible hose (seal already present in hose nut).
y Install the yellow timeout tap with the water outlet pointing towards the swan neck, and screw attach the flexible hose coming from the swan
neck (seal already present in hose nut) by putting it between the basin and the tap support (Fig. 4).
y Install the pre-mixer on the timeout tap (seal provided), with hot water on the left.
y Install the plug. Do not use the grid delivered with the plug. Use the screw, the seal and the plastic part, and secure them in the bottom of
the basin.
FITTING ACCESSORIES OF PHOTO-ELECTRIC WASH-HAND BASINS (FIGURES 8 & 9)
y Screw the two hoses 10 and two threaded rods 6 onto the base of the tap 1.
y Run the assembly through the hole on the right-hand of the basin.
y Lock the tap by tightening the hex nuts 7 and using parts 4 and 5. Do not fit the O-ring supplied.
y Turn the tap in the axis of the basin and tighten the nuts 7.
y Battery operated tap :
- Open the battery box 9 and connect the cable 8 after first passing it through the black cable grommet.
- Take care to connect the cables of the same colour to each other.
- Close the box and fix it to the left hand stud underneath the tank using the nut and washer as shown at 4. Fix the adhesive base 13 to the
centre of the rear housing and attach the cable 8 with the collar 14.
y 230V tap :
- Clip the connector 21 into the two holes of the rear housing.
- Fix an adhesive base 13 on the centre line of the tank and attach cable 8 with the collar 14.
- Connect the cable coming from tap 1 to the left side of the connector.
- Fix the transformer using the two nuts 22.
- Connect the cable coming from the transformer to the right side of the connector making sure the same coloured wires are connected
to each other.
- Fix an adhesive base 13 above the transformer and attach the transformer cable with the collar 14.
y Using nuts and gaskets, fasten the hoses 10 to the stop taps using check valves 11. Shut-off valves 11 must be used because they are equipped
with a filter 17 made of stainless steel with a mesh of 0.2mm..
y Install the main drain without using the grid supplied. Recover the screw, gasket and plastic part and fasten them at the bottom of the tank.
HAND-BASIN FITTING
y Secure basin to the wall (Fig. 2)
y Run a silicon seal between the basin and the wall using a cartridge gun. Smooth off seal.
y Install the siphon and connect the hot/cold water inlet (with a female 15/21 connector) as well as the waste water pipe (32mm diam.). Use the
supplied fiber seals for the hot/cold water inlet.
y Assemble the basin and splashback (Fig. 3)
- at the top, slide the fold at the top of the basin into the slot in the splashback.
- secure them together at the bottom using the screws provided.
y Secure the wash hand basin bracket onto the wall.
y Slide top of splashback between hand basin bracket and wall.
y Secure bottom of splashback to the wall
y Run a silicon seal between the splashback and the wall. Smooth off seal.
y Install the siphon and connect the hot/cold water inlet (with a female 15/21 connector) as well as the waste water pipe (32mm diam.). Use the
fiber seals provided for the hot/cold water inlet.
y Waste bin option: install stainless steel thread bin support, by inserting the two hook-shaped ends in the openings located underneath the
wash-stand, on wall side. Caution: Comply with installation direction (as per figures).
y Wall mounted soap dispenser option: after thoroughly degreasing the splashback and bracket, secure the distributor bracket using the
double sided adhesive (found in the distributor body), onto the upper part of the splashback.
MONOBLOC WASH AND BASIN FITTING (FIG.5)
y For the hand basin with waste bin, the height in relation to the ground, from the top of the wash hand basin should be a minimum of 850mm.
Increase the sides shown in the drawing by 50 mm.
y Non photo-electric model : fasten the wash-hand basin bracket and slide its panel between the bracket and the wall.
y Photo-electric model : fasten the wash-hand basin (two upper holes placed identically to those in the bracket).
y Slide the wash hand basin housing between the bracket and the wall.
y The splashback starts off tilted backwards, so that when installed it has a perfect fit against the wall.
y Secure the bottom of the wash hand basin to the wall
y Run a silicon seal between the splashback and the wall.
Caution: Comply with installation direction (as per figures).
y Wall mounted soap dispenser option: after thoroughly degreasing the splashback and bracket, secure the distributor bracket using the
double sided adhesive (found in the distributor body), onto the upper part of the splashback.
y Soap pump and brush option:
- Install the soap pump in the hole located to the left, as shown on the pump notice.
- Install the brush bracket above the basin, and attach the brush (Fig. 6).
y Use liquid soap with viscosity under 800 mPa.s (800 cP). In case of blocking, take the head apart and wash it with hot water by soaking or
flowing.
SETTING AND MAINTAINING NON PHOTO-ELECTRIC WASH-HAND BASINS
y Adjustment :
The mixer is equipped with anti-return valves,
Temperature adjustment: rotate the white hot water and cold water thumb wheel to the right or to the left .
Adjust the water flow rate as indicated in figure 7:
- close the water supply.
- unscrew the head of the tap (25 open-end spanner) and extract it from the body.
- remove the white cylinder
- turn the cylinder so as to present the water passage orifice facing one of the 4 openings of the white counterpart. S1, S2, S3, S4.
- position the cylinder in the desired position (see the flow rate curves).
- screw the head back on the body of the tap.
- open the water supply.
