Operation
When the probes first come in contact with water, the water
sensor sends an alarm signal to the control panel.
If the water condition persists for 2 more minutes, the water
sensor sends the alarm signal to the control panel again.
The sensor sends a total of 2 alarm signals to the control panel
per each water accident. The sensor then enters sleep mode. This
means that no matter if the water level increases, it will not
trigger the alarm anymore.
If the probes are no longer in contact with water, the water sensor
sends a restore signal to the control panel indicating the water
condition has been cleared. Water sensor then enters normal
operation mode.
During the alarm period, whenever the water ebbs, the water
sensor enters normal operation mode.
9.
Self test (supervision function)
After installation, the water sensor will send self test signals to the
control panel at random intervals of 30 to 50 minutes.
If the control panel does not receive self test signals from the
water sensor, the panel will display an error message.
Refer to the section Supervision in chapter Special Settings of the
control panel manual.
