E) Insert the threaded end of the handle and screw it
into position ensuring that the handle is tight.
F) Place the lifter on the load to be handled.
Carefully check that the load fi ts with the pre scribed
capacity range of the lifter (see name plate or en-
closed performance sheet).
Also check that the magnetic poles of the lifter are
perfectly and totally in contact with the load to be
handled.
If said load is round or tubular, make sure it is well
centered between poles.
WARNING
It is necessary for the operator to make sure the de-
vice mounted on the lifting machine can sup port the
weight to be lifted so as to carry out the operation in
complete safety.
G) Turn on the lifter by rotating the lever mech a nism
to the MAG position and lock the lever on the le ver stop (see operating cycle de scrip tion).
H) Move the load observing applicable standards for handling any suspended loads.
-- No one should be in the operating area
I) Set the load on the fl oor or support before re leas ing it, being careful that the load is per fect ly
settled on the fl oor or support and that the sup port is adequate for the load.
L) To release the load, manually move the lever stop pin and rotate the lever system to the DEMAG
position (see operating cycle de scrip tion).
This operation must be carried out by en er get i cal ly grasping the lever system with one hand
(right or left), by moving the machine stop pin with the other hand and by si mul ta ne ous ly ro tat ing
the le ver system all the way to the rotary limit switch ("DEMAG" po si tion).
NOTE: The above mentioned operations must be performed in compliance with ap-
pli ca ble work standards and other standards for suspended load handling.
-- No one should be in the operating area.
