4. Intended use

The equipment may be used only for the
tasks it is designed to handle. Any other use
is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user/
operator and not the manufacturer will be
liable for any damage or injuries of any kind
resulting from such misuse.
Please note that our equipment has not
been designed for use in commercial, trade
or industrial applications. Our warranty will
be voided if the equipment is used in com-
mercial, trade or industrial businesses or for
equivalent purposes.
Intended use:
Area of application (suitable)
For domestic waterworks, garden pumps
and automatic domestic water systems.
Serves as protection against contami-
nation when drawing water from ponds,
streams, rainwater butts, rainwater cis-
terns and wells.
Area of application (unsuitable)
Important.
The water particle filter is not allowed to
be used to convey drinking water.
The water particle filter is not allowed to
be connected to public water networks.
Pumped media
For the pumping of clear water (fresh
water), rainwater or light suds/service
water.
The maximum temperature of the fluid
must not exceed +35°C if the machine is
operated permanently.
Do not use this coarse filter to pump in-

flammable, gassing or explosive fluids.
The pumping of aggressive liquids
(acids, alkalis, silo seepage etc.) as
well as liquids with abrasive substances
(sand) must likewise be avoided.

6. Installing the water particle
filter

When you install the filter, pay attention to
the direction of flow (see the arrow on the
housing).
Make sure that the filter housing (3) is scre-
wed securely to the filter top (1).
Fit the two connectors (5/6) only hand-tight,
without using any tools.

7. Venting the filter

The first time the filter is used, the pump
must be filled with water. For the filter
housing to be filled with water, the ventila-
tion screw (Fig. 1/ Item 2) must be opened.
As soon as the filter is full, close the ventila-
tion screw again (Fig. /Item 2).
