8. Cleaning the filter element

Clean the filter element at regular inter-
vals, and replace it if necessary.
•
Release the filter housing (3) by turning
it counter-clockwise and remove the fil-
ter element ( 4).
•
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or
petrol to clean the filter element.
•
Clean the filter element by tapping it out
on a flat surface. In cases of stubborn
dirt first clean with soapy water, then
rinse with clear water and leave to dry in
the air. Assemble in reverse order.
9. Maintenance instructions
•
In order to ensure a long service life, we
recommend that you regularly check
and care for the product.
•
Before lengthy periods of inactivity or
winter storage rinse the pump thorough-
ly, empty it completely and store it in a
dry place.
•
The filter must be completely emptied
before it is exposed to freezing tempera-
tures.
10. Storage
Store the equipment and accessories out
of children's reach in a dark and dry place
at above freezing temperature. The ideal
storage temperature is between 5 and 30
°C. Store the equipment in its original pa-
ckaging.

The equipment is supplied in packaging to
prevent it from being damaged in transit.
The raw materials in this packaging can be
reused or recycled. The equipment and its
accessories are made of various types of
material, such as metal and plastic. Defec-
tive components must be disposed of as
special waste. Ask your dealer or your local
council.
