Maintenance
Maintenance operations must be performed by
qualified personnel accredited for work on the
product to which this manual refers.
Responsibility for installation work
Palazzetti cannot be considered liable for work
performed when installing the product; such
work is and remains the responsibility of the in-
staller, who is responsible for checking the fume
stack and the air intake, as well as the correctness
of the proposed installation solutions.

1.7 Main applicable directives

Regulation (EU) n. 305/2011 "Construction Prod-
ucts". In compliance with the harmonised UNI EN
13229:2006 standard "Inset appliances including
open fires fired by solid fuels - Requirements and
test methods".
2014/35/EU: "Low Voltage Directive".
2014/30/EU: "Electromagnetic Compatibility
Directive".
89/391/EEC: "Occupational Health and Safety
Directive".
85/374/EEC: "Responsibility for Damage from
Defective Products Directive".
1.8 Responsibilities of the
manufacturer
On consignment of this manual, Palaz-
zetti declines any and all responsibility,
whether civil or criminal, direct or indi-
rect, arising from:
• installation that does not comply with safety di-
rectives and regulations in force in the country;
• partial or total failure to comply with the in-
structions provided in the manual;
• installation by unqualified and/or untrained
personnel;
• use not compliant with safety directives;
• modifications and/or product repairs not au-
thorised by the manufacturer;
• lack of maintenance;
• exceptional events.
1.9 Technical assistance and
maintenance
Palazzetti has an extensive network of service
centres with trained, specialised technicians.
Our head offices and sales network are at your
complete disposal, to put you in touch with the

nearest authorised service centre.

1.10 Spare parts

Only use original spare parts.
Do not wait for components to wear out com-
pletely before replacing them.
Replacing a worn component before it breaks
helps prevent injuries caused by a sudden
component failure, which could result in serious
damage to people and things.

1.11 Serial number and ID plate

The serial number plate is affixed to the special
support on the side of the stove (Fig. 1.11) near the
hydraulic system. It shows all the descriptive data
for the product, including Manufacturer informa-
tion, Serial number and brand
The Serial Number must always be specified in
any request concerning the appliance.

1.12 Delivery of the equipment

The appliance is delivered perfectly packed and
secured to a wooden pallet allowing it to be han-
dled using forklifts and/or other means.
