Programming with barrier using just limit switches (dip4 ON), slowing down is set from the limit switches this time; only for old Punto 24.
SET PLASTIC CAMS IN THE WAY THEY TRIGGER THE SWITCHES BEFORE THE LEVER HITS THE MECHANICAL STOPPERS, BOTH IN OPENING AND CLOSING.
IMPORTANT : close the barrier (boom horizontal position and limit switches on closing engaged), led DL10 must be ON.
1. NO NEED to press PGRM button
2. Give a 1° START command (or remote control command previously stored as in the instructions), the gate opens.
3. When limit switch in opening is triggered (DL11 light up), barrier starts slowing down until hits the opening stopper.
4. Give a 2° START command, barrier starts closing.
5. When limit switch in closing is triggered (DL10 light up), barrier starts slowing down until hits the closing stopper.
HOW TO CHANGE THE BOOM'S OPENING WAY
The barrier is ALWAYS sold with the boom mounted on its right side looking the barrier from the front main door.
If you want to change the opening way, do as follows:
Hang the springs on the other side of the lever – invert motor wirings T1 with T2 – invert limit switches wirings 10 with 11
ADJUSTMENT:
• Operating trimmers CL PWR - OP PWR are for adjusting the torque, in order to make the barrier stop as required by regulations and carry out the necessary
measurements.
• Exceeding the set torque level will make the anti- crushing feature intervene: while closing the barrier reverses the movement until complete opening, during
opening it reverses the movement for about 1 sec. and it stops. Attention! In case of intervention for 3 consecutive times of anti-crushing feature during closing,
the barrier will remain open and the automatic closing (if activated) will be disabled. It is now required a start command to close the barrier.
• Set the length of the pause time using trimmer TCA (from 1 to 120 seconds)
Give information to people involved in the use of the gate about operations and commands, safety devices and any danger arising from the use of the automation.
Fill in the technical installation file and comply with current regulations.
During Programming, barrier STARTS closing
Barrier doesn't close
Photocells don't work
Barrier ricloses after 3 sec. even though TCA is deactivated and photocells were
not engaged
Barrier doesn't open at all
Remote control can not be stored into the receiver
Barrier opens completely and then closes for about 1 sec.
Barrier opens without slowing down.
Barrier closes and once it touches the mechanical stopper it reopens
While opening, barrier stops and closes for about 1 sec.
While closing, barrier stops and reopens completely
LED1-2 ON with steady light
Flashing light stays on with fix light and barrier remains open
Lack of tension 24vdc in the inputs 14-13
USUAL TROUBLES
Invert motors wires t1-t2 and verifying limit switches wirings as well
Check led dl7 ( must be off) and photocells wirings as well. Led dl3 must be off. If
I close the contact on OPEN, barrier should open (if it was closed) as long as the
contact OPEN will be reopened.
Check photocells wirings ( respecting photocells positive and negative) . Eventually
take off photocells synchronism jumper. If you are using Phototest feature, check
that power supply goes into input 13 negative and 12 positive (with this feature when
barrier is still, DL7 is ON; it switches off when barrier moves)
It is set the feature "Close after passing through photocells" (dip3 ON) and power
supply is wired into output 12-13. Move power supply wirings into 13-14 or deactivate
feature "Close after passing through photocells"
Check DL8 (must be OFF), safety edge input
Arase the whole memory from the receiver throughout key DEL/PED and try to restore
the remote. Check also remote control function.
Anticipate the trigger of electric limit switches in opening
Anticipate the trigger of electric limit switches in opening and reprogramm the
control panel.

Increase power on opening, trimmer op pwr

Barrier has detected for 3 times continuously while closing and obstacle. Increase
power on closing by trimmer cl pwr
These inputs can supply max 150ma; if you need more than this, use inputs 13
negative and 15 positive with max. tension 500ma
