6 - MAINS CONNECTION

Before inserting the plug into the power outlet,
make sure that the following precautions are taken
for safety purposes.
- The required electrical safety on this equipment
can be achieved only when properly connected
to an efficient grounding system, installed as
provided for by national safety standards. The
manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any
damage caused by failure to install an efficient
grounding system.
- It is absolutely necessary, for proper installation,
that a special outlet controlled by a unipolar
switch be set up with a distance between the
contacts equal to or greater than 3 mm, in
conformity with current national safety standards
(see fig. 7).
- Verify that the power cable is not compressed
along its entire length, do not use extension
plugs, and when unplugging the plug, pull it
gently, after having first turned off the switch.
- Do not obstruct the ventilation and heat
dissipation grids, since insufficient air circulation
will not only determine a decrease in product
yield and improper operation, but can also cause
serious damage to the machine.
