The most important thing if you wish to acquire the signals is to set the correct
1. Place the original remote control in front of the
LOGIC12, so that the areas that give off the
infrared signals are one in front of the other at a
distance of about 5 cm.
2. Press the LEARN button for a second:
the writing "TRY" will appear at the top of the
screen for about 10 seconds. Within ten seconds,
press and keep pressed down any one of the
buttons on the original remote control. The green
LED at the top should start to flash; if this is not
the case, then bring the remote controls closer
together.
3. Gradually increase the distance between the
two remote controls, taking care not to lose the
alignment between them, up to the point when
the green LED stops flashing.
At this point you will have the maximum distance of data exchange between the two remote controls.
In order to acquire the signals you will have to position the remote controls at half
this distance taking care not to move them until the process is complete.
4. Press the USE button and select the kind of
appliance that you want to operate (TV, VCR,
DVD, PAY TV ...). Then identify the button on
which you want to acquire the function from the
original remote control (we recommend that you
use one of the free buttons on the user display,
accessible by keeping the PAGE button pressed
down for a few seconds. If you want to use a
different display, select it by quickly pressing
the PAGE button).
