Installation Instructions

If your model has a dryer base, you will need a pencil, hand drill, 1/4"
(0.6 cm) drill bit, and a 1/4" Phillips screwdriver to mount it to the wall.
Shock Hazard. To reduce the risk of death by

electric shock, do not install unit where it can fall into or reach a
tub, sink, toilet, or shower.
Select a location on the wall that is

not more than 3 feet (0.9 m) from an
electrical outlet and away from any
plumbing or electric wiring in the wall. Be
sure to select a wall area that is at least
4 5/8" (11.7 cm) wide by 8 3/4" (22.2 cm)
high to mount the base.
Using the dryer base as a guide, mark

Drill two 1⁄4" (0.6 cm) holes at the marked

Wrap any excess of the straight portion of the

power cord into the dryer base as follows:
• Hold the dryer base up to the mounting
location. Allow enough cord length to reach
the electrical outlet; then route the remaining
straight portion of the cord through the
cord slot at the bottom of the base and
then through the strain relief.
• Wrap the excess cord around the "cord wrap"
inside the base and route cord through the remaining strain
relief and out the cord slot at the bottom of the base.
NOTE: If the cord is not long enough to wrap, route the cord
only through the two strain reliefs to prevent theft of hand unit.
