INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE DATES
PRELIMINARY INSPECTION:
Before the first use. All new or repaired machines must be checked by a qualified and competent person to
ensure the machine meets the requirements of this operating manual.
DAILY INSSPECTIONS:
Check operation of the brake.
Check the chains – cleanliness, lubrication, twisting.
Check the hooks: level of wear and tear, damage, enlargement of the hook slit, shank bend or hook
deviation.
REGULAR INSPECTIONS (recommended as monthly):
Check the wear of the chain.
Check the degree of wear on the hooks: signs of wear damage, enlargement of the hook slit, shank
bend or hook deviation.
Check the attachment of the hooks.
Clean and lubricate the chains.
Check the control panel and cabling.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the device before cleaning it and after each use.
Use cleaner without corrosive substances to clean surface.
Clean the chain hoist regularly. Remove all stains from chain after use. Grease the chain regularly and
store in a dry place. If rust appears on the chain, remove it and grease the chain. If unable to remove
rust, replace chain for new. All chain hoist maintenance and inspection works should be carried out by
a 10trained and qualified member of staff. A person without the required experience and knowledge
should not attempt to complete these tasks.
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
CHECK REGULARLY THE DEVICE
Check regularly whether the device is damaged. If it should be damaged, please stop using it immediately and
contact your customer service to solve the problem.
What to do in case of a problem?
Please contact your customer service and prepare the following information:
Invoice number and serial number (the latter is to be found on the technical plate on the device).
If relevant, take a picture of the damaged, broken or defective part.
It will be easier for your customer service clerk to determine the source of the problem if you give
a detailed and precise description of the matter!
CAUTION: Never open the device without the authorization of your customer service. This can lead to
a loss of warranty!
