USING THE HAND CRANK
Warning: Never use the crank to assist an operating winch. This will damage the winch and
may cause personal injury.
The hand crank may be used when there is no power in the battery but the cable is still loaded, this
can help to loosen and retreat the cable temporarily.
1. Turn the clutch knob clockwise until hand tight. Do not force it or over tighten.
2. Place the end of the hand crank over the flattened end of threaded shaft on the left side of the
winch.
3. Rotate the hand crank anticlockwise to rewind the cable. Continue to turn until the cable has
been completely rewound.
4. Rotate the hand crank Clockwise to turn the cable until it is loose and has no any load.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WINCH MAINTENANCE
1. Follow the instructions for lubricating periodically
Lubricate the cable and hook regularly with slight grease.
Grease the gears every 6 months. To do this release the clutch knob and separate the left and
right housing. Use any good quality waterproof grease.
2. Inspect periodically all parts, steel cable, accessories and replace them if damaged or used.
3. Have damaged parts replaced by an authorized service center.
4. Check the nuts periodically and tighten them if they are loose.
5. Periodically check that the functions buttons are in good operating condition.

REMEDIES
- Shake solenoid to free contacts Check by
applying 12Volts to coil terminal (it should
make an audible dick when energized), -

prevent overheating.
- Check that the battery terminal voltage
under load is 10 Volts at least, replace the
battery or add another.
- Check battery cables for corrosion, clean
or grease.
- Replace with a larger capacity battery
charger system.
