3. SSL Certificate Installation
System release 2.x requests a secure connection to your browser. You must install the certificate in
accordance with your browser instructions. You can download the certificate from the Codec.
On the first connection, your browser will deny the connection and prompts you to confirm a security
exception. You must accept this security exception at this time.
How to download and to install the WorldCast certificate is described in the manual in section 3.5.12.

With this release the certificate does not appear correctly if the Codec IP address mode is set to
DHCP (IP address assigned from the DHCP server in your network)

4. Connect via DNS Hostname
Alternatively to an (unknown) IP address you can use the unit's DNS name by using the syntax
below – this requires that you have an mDNS service installed on you PC (for details refer to the
manual section 3.5.4.5)
