Working on hard soils the machine may jump forward, if so, lower the depth skid to the
maximum.
The ground should generally be tilled 2-3 times in different directions.
Figure 9
Do not cultivate very wet soil, as clods will be formed, and these are difficult to break up
again. Very dry soil may need to be cultivated twice.
Note: The transmission becomes very hot during use.
Note that the handlebar may vibrate during operation; therefore it is recommended not to use
the machine for longer than 2 hours in every session.
Adjusting the depth skid
The engine shall be stopped when carrying out maintenance and cleaning operations, when
changing tools and when being transported by means other than under its own power.
The depth skid can be adjusting for tilling to different depths. The deeper the depth skid in the
soil, the deeper the tilling blades will work and the slower the machine will advance. The
correct cultivating depth will lighten your workload. The setting for the depth skid depends on
the soil conditions, and we recommend doing several trials to see how deep the depth skid
should be, so that you can work optimally in your soil.
Cleaning the tiller
The engine shall be stopped when carrying out maintenance and cleaning operations, when
changing tools and when being transported by means other than under its own power.
The tiller should be cleaned after use. Use your garden hose and wash off soil and dirt. Clean
the rotor shaft of any grass, etc. The chassis number should only be wiped with a moist cloth
otherwise it may be damaged. Avoid using a high pressure cleaner for cleaning.
