Overview and use
Refer to the illustration on page 2 of this manual.

Operation
• Insert batteries into the PA system (see §7).
• Plug the headphone connector into the microphone input [A].
• Switch on the PA system by turning on the on/off – volume control
knob [D]. The power/charge LED [C] lights up green.
• Make sure the speaker [E] is not covered and speak into the
microphone to broadcast a message. Turn the on/off – volume
control knob [D] to adjust the volume.
• The PA system can be attached around the waist for easy hands free
operation.
• The device contains a battery charging mechanism. When using
rechargeable batteries, they can be charged by plugging an AC/DC
adaptor (not included, 12VDC/200mA, tip +) into the 12VDC
charger input [B]. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable
batteries or damage will result to both batteries and PA system.
When charging, the power/charge LED [C] lights up red.

Batteries
•
Before replacing or inserting batteries, make sure the PA system is
off.
•
Open the battery cover [F] at the back.
• Insert 8 new identical 1.5V AA batteries (LR6C, not included)
following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
Always replace all batteries simultaneously.
• Close the battery compartment.
Malfunction may occur if the power is on when the
battery is replaced. Dispose of batteries in
accordance with local regulations.
Keep batteries away from children.
