INSTALLATION - PRELIMINARY ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION - ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions below, to be carried out in the order in which they are numbered, refer to the drawings on the last few pages of this manual, which are marked with
the corresponding numbers.
1.
Fit a fascia
2.
Fit the two valves sections on the hood's fume outlet.
Place the round adhesive labels in the holes on the right- and left-hand sides of the casing.
3.
If the walls of the cupboard are 16 mm thick, place the four spacers (two on each side) on the through-holes for the fastening screws.
4.
Take out the steam collector and remove the grease filters.
5-6.
Place the drilling template on the inside wall of the cupboard, positioning it as shown in the diagram.
Drill the three holes as indicated in the diagram.
The largest hole will be used for supporting the hood during installation on the cupboard.
Repeat this step to drill the holes on the other wall of the cupboard.
If there is not one already, drill a hole in the top of the cupboard using the dimensions given in the figure.
The fume extraction tube and the power cable will be run through this opening.
7.
Install an exhaust tube on the hood's fume outlet.
The tube must be long enough to reach the outside (extracting version) or the top of the cupboard (filtering version).
Place the hood inside the cupboard, latching the tabs on the sides into the two holes (one on each side) in the walls of the cupboard.
From inside the hood, screw the four screws (two on each side) into the holes in the walls of the cupboard.
Insert the power cable in the appropriate slot. Secure the cable with the cable clamp.
IMPORTANT: This action is compulsory. It will prevent accidental disconnection of the power cable. Connect the appliance to the
household mains.
8.
Check that the exhaust tube and the power cable can pass through the hole drilled into the top of the cupboard without any problems.
9.
Adjust the drawer's end stop by fitting the two brackets provided. Secure in place with two screws.
10.
For the filtering version only: Install the carbon filter (not supplied).
