CaUtIon!
As with all electronic devices, when dealing with
this extraction equipment, it is always essential
to handle with care and attention. The unit must
be serviced and maintained regularly, in order to
guarantee smooth, trouble-free operation. If
necessary maintenance work is not undertaken
or worn parts are not replaced, it could jeopardise
the safety of the unit. In this case, the
manu f acturer assumes no liability whatsoever.
The extraction unit is designed so that it can be
connected to a power source continuously.
4. replacing the motor
If the motor fails, after approx. 2,500 operating
hours, it must be replaced. All units from the
F series onwards have a long life motor, with
which the carbon brushes no longer have to be
exchanged. The long life motor is also available
as a replacement motor for units up to the E
series, which until now have not been fitted with
a long life motor.

The long life motor is identified by a sticker on
the unit. The type of motor which is in the unit
can be set in the Ceramill Motion software.
Please contact the Ceramill helpdesk for infor-
mation regarding this.
The motor should only be replaced by an
electrician or technical service. Please contact
your technical service.
