Filtration cartridge
The filtration cartridge reduces calc
deposits. It screws itself inside the tank
cap and stays immersed in water. It
should be replaced once or twice a
year depending on usage and water
hardness.
The product does not work properly
Circumstances
No mist production.
The on/off light is on but no
mist is produced
The mist produced has an
unpleasant smell.
The on/off light is on but
the device does not work.
Mist is produced in
insufficient quantity.
Abnormal noise.
Water leak.
Solution
Check the power cord.
Check that the tank is correctly positioned.
Check that the tank is filled.
Check that the power switch is not set at
minimum power.
On a new appliance, open the water tank and
aerate it for 12 hours. On a used appliance, the
smell is due to stagnant or dirty water.
Clean the tank and the housing thoroughly and
change the water.
Too much water on the ultrasonic plate :
remove some water.
It may also happen when moving an appliance
full of water.
Dirty ultrasonic plate: clean the ultrasonic plate.
Dirty or stagnant water: clean the tank and
change the water.
If the device has not enough water or is not on
a stable surface, a resonance can be heard.
Check that the tank is tightly screwed and the
seal (inside the tank cap) is correctly placed.
The seal could have fallen while filling the tank.
If necessary, clean the seal with soapy water.
