GotaKid helps preventing dry air symptoms by humidifying the ambient air thanks to
a cold or warm mist. An air humidifier is efficient against dried mucous membranes,
nose bleeds, rhinitis, eye irritation, dry skin, dry cough or nocturnal thirsts. In terms
of hygiene and comfort, Air&me recommends a relative humidity (hygrometry)
between 40 and 60%.
Operating instructions
Before switching on GotaKid, check
that the product is turned off and that
the front switch is on the «OFF» position.
•
Place the humidifier on a flat surface,
at least 60 cm above the floor and
10 cm from the wall.
•
Fill the tank (see instructions below).
•
Plug the power cord in an electrical
socket.
•
Turn the product on using on/off
Filling the tank
•
Take the tank by the upper part and lift it.
•
Turn the tank over, unscrew the cap (follow the
"WATER" arrow) and fill the tank with cold water. Do
not fill it with hot water, it could create some leaks.
•
Screw back the cap clockwise.
•
Replace the tank on its base using the float as a
guide.
Controls
Humidification power
By turning the power variator, you can adjust the humidifier
power as you wish.
•
Off position : the apliance is switched off
•
On position : minimum power (sharp sound)
•
Max position : maximum power
Caution : while using the appliance at maximum power, it is
possible that the mist falls back and creates condensation
around the appliance which could be wrongly identified as
a leak. In order to avoid that, reduce the power level and/or
place the humidifier near a heat source, on furniture at more
than one meter height.
