Install the 2-conductor control wire connecting
the decoder to the switched device (e.g.
garage door opener, alarm system etc.)
Connect the 2-conductor control wire to the
decoder terminals (1).
Storing the code word:
Open the slider „a" (Fig. 3)
Take out the battery terminal plug and connect
9V battery (with external power supply, connect
the wire to terminals 2).
Press the coding key.
Flip open the cover.
Enter code word (max. 12 characters)
Store code word by pressing „t" and then
confirm with the number 1 (e.g. 4, 5, 6, t, 1)
Recall the code word and verify with „#".
The relay will close, the LED will light up and the
switched device will be activated.
Once entered, the code word will be retained
even if the battery or 12V external power supply
is removed. The code word can be overwritten
by keying in a new word.

Functions:
If the stored code word is entered, the relay
switches and the contact closes.
If a wrong code word is entered three times in a
row, an alarm sound is emitted for 1 minute.

Note:
The minimum voltage required to allow the relay to
operate is 7V =
The LED in the decoder indicates the opening of
the code-entry lock for a preset fixed time of
approximately 3 to 5 seconds. A long as the LED
is illuminated, the floating relay contact is
connected to the output terminals.
Maintenance:
The electronic code-entry lock does not require any
special maintenance. Do not use any abrasive
cleaners in order to avoid damage to the key pad.
Recommendation:
For safety reasons, the battery should be replaced
approximately every 1 or 2 years. In order to avoid
selective wear of the keypad, you should change the
code word from time to time.
Worn or dirty keys make it easier for strangers to
decipher your code word.
