6 LIABILITY

The rider (or parent of the rider, if rider is under 16 years old) of this electric scooter is solely and fully responsible for the safe
operation of the electric scooter at all times.
The rider is aware that the use of the electric scooter scooter involves both obvious and unexpected risks, dangers, and hazards
that may result in injury or death of the rider or others and/or property damage, and that such risks, dangers, and hazards cannot
always be predicted or avoided.
The risks, dangers, and hazards include, but are not limited to:
 vehicles and other objects, pedestrians, traffic;
 malfunction of the electric scooter or its components;
 road and weather conditions;
 failure to follow applicable laws regarding the use and/or operation of the electric scooter;
 failure to perform a safety check;
 failure to wear a helmet.
The rider understands that electric scooters are electrical equipment that may malfunction even if the electric scooter is properly
maintained and that such malfunction may cause property damage, injury or death.
