Installation and repair of the device may only be carried
out by properly qualified professionals.
The installation and electrical connection of the device must
comply with the technical and administrative provisions of
the respective country in which it is used (e.g. EN 1648,
VDE 0100, Part 721 or IEC 60364-7-721). National regulations
and guidelines must be observed.
Due to its proximity to the heater, only temperature-resistant
cables (at least 100 °C) may be used.
Before connecting or disconnecting from the cables, ensure
that the power supply is completely interrupted! To do this,
remove the mains plug or the coupling plug to the towing
vehicle and disconnect the battery. Switching off at the con-
trol panel is not sufficient!

Installation instructions
Intended use
The fan is designed for distributing warm air and for ventilat-
ing caravans and motorcaravans. A Truma heater S 3004 /
S 3004 P / S 5004 or S 5004 E (NL) was developed for the in-
stallation. Ask Truma about other possible applications.
Installation of the fan on the installation box

Remove pre-perforated cover on the back of the installation
box. Screw in or release screws (1 – B 3.5 x 19) so that the
attachment straps of the fan can be engaged. Hook in the fan
and tighten the screws.
Installation of the fan on the installation
box for two fans
A special installation box is available for the heater S 5004 /
S 5004 E (NL) to enable the connection of two fans. The in-
stallation is identical to the model with one fan.

The Y-piece (7) has 2 warm air pipes (24) at various angles.
The Y-piece can be turned to adapt it to the respective instal-
lation situation. To do this, unscrew the screw attachment (8)
on the installation box, turn the Y-piece (7) and re-tighten the
screw (8).
