4 Once bolts or nuts are fastened, release throttle lever for idling and not allow
driving shaft to turn and remove socket from bolts or nuts.

4.4 STOPPING THE ENGINE

1 Release throttle lever to decrease engine speed.
2 Return stop switch to "stop" position.
3 Place the tool on a firm stand or solid floor and turn gear change lever to "N "
(neutral) position.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
1 Engine does not start:
▪ Empty fuel or shortage: fill up at mixture ratio 25 gasoline : 1 two cycle oil.
▪ Wet spark plug due to too much intake of fuel: remove spark plug, exhaust
exceeded fuel by pulling recoil starter handle 5 – 6 times, install spark plug,
turn choke lever to open position and pull recoil starter handle.
▪ Bent or disconnection of fuel pipe: repair.
▪ Poor function of carburetor: air leak from carburetor, incorrect carburetor
adjustment, bad diaphragm in carburetor or incorrect carburetor valve hinge
hight adjustment.
▪ Ignition stop switch in "stop" postition: turn to "on" position.
▪ No spark: bad connection/ignition coil, incorrect air gap/ignition coil, bad ignition
coil.
▪ Short circuit of stop switch lead wire: repair or replace.
▪ Dirty plug: clean up or replace.
▪ Wider spark plug gap: adjust correct gap to 0,6 mm.
▪ Poor connection of high voltage cord in ignition with spark plug: correct
connection.
▪ Bad ignition coil: replace.
2 Engine will stop soon after starting or is likely to stop:
▪ Shortage of fuel: fill up.
▪ Choke lever in closed position: turn to open position.
▪ Air goes through to fuel system: check if cracks are found on pipe or connector
and pipe is securely fixed.
▪ Poor function of carburetor: air leak from carburator, incorrect carburator
adjustment, bad diaphragm in carburetor or incorrect carburetor valve hinge
hight adjustment.
▪ Bad spark plug: replace.
▪ Bad ignition coil: replace.
