Before using your Ergofix log cutter, first read this manual thoroughly, so that
accidents can be prevented.

1. GENERAL

Having bought the Ergofix log cutter, you have become the owner of a high
quality, reliable machine. Using it properly and maintaining it regularly, the
machine will carry out heavy jobs for years to come.
In this operation manual you will find use and maintenance prescriptions. Before
using the log cutter, read this manual first and be sure that others have read it
as well and have taken the necessary precautions.
This machine has been constructed for cutting tree trunks and is a home use
model. The log cutter can be stored or transported under ambient temperatures
between -25ºC and +55ºC and a surrounding humidity of less than 80%.
The appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was specifically
designed. All other uses are to be considered incorrect and therefore
unreasonable. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage
resulting from improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.

The diameter of the tree trunk is indicative: a small trunk can be difficult to cut if it
has knobs or a particularly tough fible. On the other hand, it may not be difficult to
cut logs with regular fibers even if its diameter exceeds the max. figure indicated in
the above technical data.
