If the doorbell does not work
1. Check that the volume is not turned OFF in the battery compartment of the chime.
2. Check that the batteries are correctly installed.
3. Check the batteries by activating the bell push. The lights on both the chime and
the bell push should light up (ensure the light is not turned OFF on the chime).
Replace the batteries on the unit not lighting up.
4. Reset by pressing the RESET key in the battery compartments of the chime and the
bell push.
5. Check that the units have identical codes. If not, adjust the codes to match exactly
(see paragraph "set the code").
6. Check that the chime and the bell push are not too far apart. Move the chime
closer to the bell push.
7. Other products or materials may interfere with the signal. E.g. cordless alarm
systems or other cordless products using the frequency 433 MHz, building
materials e.g. steel, concrete or fluorescent tubes etc. Remove the object causing
the interference or find another position for the chime, where a clear signal can
be obtained.
