1 - Use
The 1S145 lock is designed to secure an appropriate liner in the socket. This lock is laminated in the
distal part of the socket.
This product is designed exclusively for lower limb prosthesis.
The use of this lock is limited to patients weighing 100 kg or less. Carried loads and patient
activity must be taken into account when calculating the weight.
2 - Description
The 1S145 lock comes with :

2 positioning dummies
•
1 lamination anchor M36x1.5
•
2 locking pins M10 (1 long and 1 short)
•
1 bending spacer

Lower connection :
- Authorized environmental conditions
Use temperature : -20°C à +65°C.
Relative air humidity : 0% to 90%, no condensation.
- Prohibited environmental conditions
Mechanical vibrations or shocks.
Sweating, urine, fresh water, seawater, acids, alkalis.
Dust, sand, strongly hygroscopic particles (eg : talc).
3-1 - Product life
This component has been tested in accordance with standard ISO10328, load level P5 (100 Kg /
220 lbs) ; the cyclical test of 3 million cycles corresponds to a use of 4 or 5 years depending on the
patient activity.
3-2 - Warnings
In case of assembly with unauthorized prosthetic components:
- Risk of injury due to product breakage or warping
- Use only prosthetic components that have been approved for use with this product.
Read the instructions for use of the prosthetic components to check that they can be assembled with each
other.
In case of use in unauthorized environmental conditions:
- Risk of injury due to product damage.
- Risk of malfunction
- If the product has been exposed to unauthorized environmental conditions, check that it is not damaged.
- In case of obvious or suspected damage, stop using the product.
- If necessary take appropriate measures (eg : cleaning, repair, replacement, control by the manufacturer or
by a specialized workshop, etc ...).
