comfortable fit and prevent the straps from
twisting.
Several D-rings in lightweight alloy make it
possible to connect all types of accessories
and technical components to the stabilizing
jacket. The sternal closing is guaranteed by
an adjustable system of 25 mm clips. All the
loops are made in lightweight alloy with Hard
Anodizing surface treatment. The waist
closure is guaranteed by a Velcro band with
elastic to ensure proper fit.
The system is adjustable and reinforced by
an additional 50 mm clip in the centre. Two
plastic, 50 mm D-rings are connected to the
belt allowing the adjustment of the clip even
while wearing gloves.
Air control - Pneumatic inflation-deflation
system
The PRO 2000 Adv stabilizing jacket is
equipped with a patented, innovative,
integrated inflation-deflation system called
"AIR CONTROL". This mechanism applied to
the overpressure valves allows them to be
opened by an oil-pneumatic transmission.
This new pneumatic system allows the
gradual and independent regulation of
deflation. This convenient solution eliminates
the need to use air (a system used in other
devices) or pulling a cable in order to open
the valve to dump extra air during the various
phases of the dive.
This innovative power inflator is located at
the height of the left ventral part (Drawing1),
facilitating contact and hold even without
looking. Its particular shape allows it to be
found easily by hand and the identification of
the buttons to be used.
The two grey buttons, that allow the dump
valve to open are differentiated and opposite
each other (Drawing 2). Each single
mechanism is independent and interacts with
the corresponding valve (Drawing 3).
The grey button on the upper part of the
power inflator opens the rear valve located
32
above, while the lower grey button opens the
rear valve located below. The effect obtained
will be that of a deflation controlled by each
individual valve as necessary. Obviously, it is
possible to operate both valves by pressing
both buttons at once. (Drawing 4)
The inflation of the stabilizing jacket is
ensured by the inflation button located in the
centre and coloured orange (Drawing 5) and
can be distinguished by shape and touch. The
button activates a piston that allows a rapid
yet gradual inflation. In correspondence to
this pipe, there is a rapid male fixture
specifically for the connection to the medium
pressure hose (Drawing 6).
Important!!
Both the intake and outlet flows are increased
in order to give optimum and rapid buoyancy
control.
The internal components are made of nickel-
plated brass and then chrome-plated to offer
increased safety and reliability over time. The
quality of the materials confirms dedication
to the components used with cutting edge
technological characteristics.

Oral Inflator

In reference to the regulations enforced by the
European Community and for further safety,
we have included a system for oral inflation
with a safety valve in the right-hand pocket
(Drawing 7). This system, commonly known
as an "Oral Inflator", allows you to inflate the
stabilizing jacket with a separate and
independent system. In order to use the
inflation system, it is necessary to take it
entirely from the pocket, remove the protective
cap, and put it in your mouth. Putting your lips
against the valve you must blow air into it with
slight pressure (Drawing 8).
Once the stabilizing jacket has been inflated,
replace the cap and put the tube back into its
original position in the pocket.
