in the off position when being
assembled, disassembled, or cleaned.
The advanced technology involved in
the assembly of the CK-90 requires
adherence to the following operation
and maintenance instructions:
1. OPERATION
The electric circular blade CK-90 can
only be used with the power supply
unit. Simply plug the cord of the
power supply unit into the outlet.
Then plug the flat cord of the
handheld device into the power supply
unit. After turning on the power
supply unit the knife is ready to be
used. Simply press the "on" switch and
the knife will be able to cut.
2. SETTING THE PROPER THICKNESS
You can easily adjust the thickness of
your cut with the knurled nut (Position
10) on the frame (Position 2) of the
appliance.
Lightly apply pressure to the skewer
and slide the knife vertically from top
to bottom.
3. CLEANING THE HEAD OF THE
KNIFE
The following instructions should be
performed at least once a night or
after operation:
instructions
Turn the power supply unit off and
unplug the flat cord of the hand held
device from the power supply unit.
Loosen the laterally mounted knurled
screws (Position 4) with a quarter turn.
The blade protector (Position 1) can be
removed. Stick a peg into the hole in
the blade to counter the movement of
a wrench. Take an SW17 wrench and
loosen the hexagonal nut (Position 3).
The blade (Position 5) and the head
(Position 9) are free to be cleaned.
After cleaning the blade assemble it
(Position 5) with the smoothed, sloped
edge facing inwards. Assembly should
be
carried
direction of disassembly.
4.
SHARPENING
BLADE
To sharpen the blade hold the
grindstone included in this set in your
right hand and the knife in your left.
While it is running, lightly apply
pressure to the back of the blade
(Position 5). Mind the original form of
the blade. To trim the blade apply the
grindstone to the front edge of the
knife very shortly. After this process
the blade should be ground.
5. STORING THE KNIFE
To avoid unnecessary exposure to the
heat of the grill, the knife should not
be placed in front of the operating
skewer. If you avoid unnecessary
exposure to the heat of the grill and
clean the knife daily, the CK-90 doener
kebab knife will last longer.
Keep the CK-90 out of the reach of
children!
