2. CAPACIDAD DEL SISTEMA DIGITAL GUINAZ.
CAPACITY OF THE GUINAZ DIGITAL SYSTEM.
The Guinaz digital system with units G3254 and G3264
can manage up to:
• 63 main internal accesses, in installations with
external accesses.
• 31 secondary internal accesses for each main
internal access.
• 255 dwellings for each main internal access.
• 1 portier’s unit for each main internal access.
A maximum of 31 secondary accesses (PIS) can be
connected to the main access (PIP) and up to 255
dwellings, because the telephones/monitors can be
configured with a number standing between 1 and 255.
There can be several telephones or monitors in one same
dwelling, this depending on the power supplies that are
installed. All telephones or monitors in a dwelling must
have the same number programmed, although only one
of them is to be configured as the main one, with the
remaining units considered as extensions.
In installations with more than one access, when a call
is made from a street panel and the dwelling bus is busy
with a previous call, then an acoustic signal indicating
busy line is produced in said street panel.
The internal buses of the blocks of dwellings are
independent from each other. Also, each internal dwelling
bus is also independent from the external street panel
bus. This characteristic makes it possible for simultaneous
calls to be made to different dwellings from the same
installation, as long as these do not occupy the same
communication bus.
