transport damage before assembly.
The machine must be securely bolted to a
workbench on the machine base frame (4).
Use two bolts for this purpose which are long
enough to secure the machine properly to the
workbench (B3-B6).
The machine operator must stand parallel with
the workbench and machine and push the
handle (2) of the machine down whilst the links
of the saw chains are being sharpened.
Only connect the machine to electricity supplies
whose mains voltage is the same as that set out
on the model plate.
Carry out the following checks before you switch
on the machine. Switch off the machine and pull
the mains plug for this purpose.
1. Condition and profile of the grinding disc (8).
2. Condition of the power cable (1).
3. Check whether the machine is also correctly
secured to the workbench (B6).
4. After the machine has been connected to the
power supply and switched on, first check
whether the disc (8) runs true. The disc (8) may
have to be replaced if it does not run true.
