Areas of use
®
protective aprons offer excellent protection against cutting and
ecomesh
stabbing injuries for tasks that require a knife to be pulled pointed first towards
the body. They are particularly recommended when using knifes in abattoirs,
the meat-processing industry, industrial kitchens and when deboning and car-
ving meat, fish, game and poultry.
In the above-mentioned work processes, there is a high risk of injury to the
hands and arms by puncture- and cut-wounds. Since many of these tasks do
not prevent the risk of injury by other measures, it is necessary to wear PPE
'puncture- and cut protection' to minimise the likelihood of injury.

caused by hand-held knives which can lead to very serious consequences such as
death or irreversible harm to health.
®
stab protection aprons therefore represent category III PPE.
