Security Prescriptions
Before any maintenance intervention on the equipment, please make sure that:
1 – the equipment has been switched off (main switch set on OFF).
2 – the plug has been disconnected from the outlet (extract the plug without pulling the cable).
3 – Make sure the outlet has a ground connection.
4 - DO NOT remove identification and safety labels placed on the back and inside the equipment. Should they
become unreadable, please ask the supplier to substitute them.
5- in case of substitution of components, always submit the request to the supplier giving name and code
shown at the end of this manual.
6 – ONLY authorized and specialized technicians from NILO s.r.l., can intervene on extraordinary maintenance
on the equipment (interventions carried out by non authorized staff immediately VOID the guarantee and
Manufacturer's liability).
Should the main cable be damaged, it has to be replaced with a special cable available at the
Manufacturer, requesting it through the technical assistance department.
Replacement of electric motors and control unit
Here are the main steps for the replacement of engines that manage the movement of lifting / lowering the
backrest and the control unit:
1. bring the bed in the lowered position horizontal
2. disconnect the power plug from the outlet
3. follow the UPKEEP PROCEDURE (Pict.10)
4. remove the slide from the housing unit located on the engine
5. replace the unit
To mount the power plant or the controller must proceed in reverse from the above, CAUTION by inserting the plug of
the engine in exactly the same power the controller.

- IMPORTANT

Interventions of electric motors ( more extensively on all electric components
of the bed) must be carried out only by specialized staff.
