Setting a position
The head and foot end can be adjusted to any position you
desire, either separately or together.

want to adjust. This can be done by navigating using the but-
tons A and D. Confirm using the OK button.
The selected part of the bed can now be adjusted using the A
and D buttons. Once the bed has reached the desired position,
you can confirm using the OK button. The following submenu
options are then displayed automatically and you can follow
the same procedure for a different part of the bed. Navigate
downwards to 'previous' to return to the main menu. Confirm
using the OK button.
Massage functions and programme
Select 'MASSAGE'. Confirm using the OK button.
In the submenu, you should then select which part of the bed
you want the massage to start. Do this by navigating through
the menu using the A and D buttons. Confirm using the OK
button.
Once you have selected the massage (upper body/legs) the
frequency can be increased or decreased in stages using the
A and D buttons.
The rolling massage at the bottom of the menu is a programme
by which the upper body and legs are massaged alternately.
The massage is ended when you press either button B or C.
All the massage functions are automatically ended after 30
minutes.
Programming memory functions
You can pre-programme 3 different positions / massage
functions. Thereafter, you can activate them with a single press
of the button.
Select 'PROGRAM'. Confirm using the OK button.
In the submenu you should then select one of the three
non-activated programmes (the programme 'COMFORT' is a
pre-programmed demonstration of the bed's functions which
last 5 minutes).
Select 'NEW' in order to activate a new programme. Press the
OK button.
Navigate through the different setting options. Make your
choice by pressing the OK button and then adapt the settings
to meet your wishes by navigating using the A and D buttons.
Press the OK button to confirm each separate setting.

the 'previous'.

In the submenu you should then select 'SET TIME'.
Set the time by navigating using the A and D buttons.
Alarm function
The alarm function means that the massage function is acti-
vated at the set time. The intensity increases during a period
of 5 minutes. After that you will hear the alarm signal. Select
'CLOCK'. Confirm using the OK button.
To activate the alarm function, select 'SET ALARM' and set the
time by navigating using the A and D buttons. Confirm using
the OK button.
In the submenu you should then select 'ON' or 'OFF' to activate
or deactivate the function.
The alarm function stops when you press B or C on the remote
control.
Lighting
If your bed is fitted with original Dynamique lighting, this can
also be adjusted using the remote control.
Select 'LIGHT'. Confirm using the OK button.
In the submenu you should then select 'ON', 'OFF' of 'ADJUST'
using the A and D buttons. Under 'ADJUST' the light intensity
can be increased or decreased using the A and D buttons.
Confirm using the OK button.
Ventronic
climate control
TM
The Ventronic function gives you the feeling that your bed
is cool, even when your bedroom is warm and humid. The
Ventronic
is a silent ventilator, fitted to the base of the bed.
TM
The ventilator 'sucks' excess body heat out of the mattress
and, in that way, creates a cooler sleeping climate, even on hot
summer days.
Select 'VENTRONIC'. Confirm using the OK button.
In the submenu you should then select 'ON', 'OFF' or 'ADJUST'.
The degree of ventilation can be adjusted using the A and D
buttons.
Safety lock sensors
The Jensen Dynamique bed is fitted on both sides of the base
with safety sensors which reduce the risk of becoming trapped
between the bed's moving parts.
An alarm is set off whenever the sensors' infrared beam is
interrupted. It will then be impossible to lower the bed from a
raised position before the path of the beam is free again. Once
the alarm has stopped, you will have to wait another 5 seconds
before the bed can be lowered using the remote control.
Solving malfunctions yourself
If you are unable to adjust the bed, check the following points.
Check whether the plug has been inserted properly into the
socket and whether power is being supplied (a small green
light must light up on the small switch on the plug).
Change the batteries of the remote control (the normal life of
the batteries in the event that the bed is adjusted 2x per day
is 2 years).
Configure the remote control for the bed in question. Refer to
'Configuring the remote control'.
Check whether the red diodes of the safety sensors under the
bed are illuminated and that nothing is interrupting the beams
on both sides of the base.
Do not open the motors, the electrical components or the
remote control yourself. The manufacturer accepts no liability if
this has been done by anyone who is not an authorised service
technician. New parts should be ordered from the manufac-
turer.
Strange noises
A mechanical and electrically adjustable bed generates noise.
In most instances, the amount of noise that the bed makes
depends on the acoustics of the room in which the bed is
situated. In the case of the massage function, hard floors may
cause resonance. This can be reduced by placing a rug or
another noise or vibration-resistant material under the legs or
wheels.
Usage
The bed's lifting motors are not designed for continuous
usage. Normally the motors should not operate for more than
2 minutes during a 15 minute period. Any attempt to exceed
this degree of usage will reduce the life of the product and may
render the guarantee invalid.
The bed has been constructed in such a way that it can bear
a maximum weight of 220 kg, distributed equally between the
head end and the foot end. Any attempt to exceed this degree
of usage will reduce the life of the product and may render the
guarantee invalid.
Use with pacemakers
As is the case with all products that vibrate, there is a risk
that certain pacemakers will interpret the vibrations as body
movements. There is, therefore, a risk that this will affect your
pacemaker. If you are worried, please contact your doctor.
