Carrier
Frame: Torsion-resistant, welded construction made from high
strength, fine-grained steel. Central lubricating system.
Outriggers: 4-point double telescopic hydraulic outriggers incl.
asymmetric outrigger base and automatic length detection. Con-
trols on both sides of carrier and in superstructure cab. Outrigger
base 27.9 ft/ 8.5 m, 26.2 ft/ 8.0 m, 22.3 ft/ 6.8 m, 18.0 ft/ 5.5 m,
8.8 ft/ 2.7 m x 29.2 ft/ 8.9 m.
Carrier engine: Mercedes-Benz 6 cylinder model OM 473 LA
(Euromot IV / EPA Tier 4f), water-cooled diesel engine. Hydro-
statically driven, electronically controlled fan, rated at 625 HP
(460 kW) at 1700 min-1. Torque 2,139 ft-lbs/ 2900 Nm (296 kpm)
at 1300 min-1. Engine rating according to ECE R 120. Fuel tank
174 gal/ 660 l. AdBlue tank 11 gal/ 40 l.
Transmission: Mechanical ZF TC-Tronic transmission, type
12 TC 3041 SO, with torque converter clutch and integrated
intarder, electro-pneumatically actuated dry clutch and fully
automatic transmission control system, 12 forward and 2 reverse
gears. If necessary, semi-automatic mode (Tip-Tronic) is possible
with manual gear selection.

Suspension: Hydro-pneumatic suspension with leveling adjust-

Brake system: Air-operated dual-circuit disc brake system with
air drier. Parking brake: spring loaded type acting on 3rd, 4th, 5th
and 6th axles. Intarder and engine brake as continuous service
brake.
Tyres: (12) 445/95 R 25 (16.00 R 25).
Steering system: ZF Servocom, dual-circuit hydraulic steering
with emergency steering pump. Mechanical steering of 1st and
2nd axles. In "On-road" mode, automatic electronic steering
of the axles 3 - 6 up to a speed of 18.6 mph/ 30 km/h. As of a
speed of 18.6 mph 30 km/h, the axles 4 and 5 are locked in
straight-ahead position and, as of a speed of 31.1 mph/ 50 km/h,
axles 3 and 6 additionally.
Carrier cab: Two man full width cab of composite (steel sheet
metal and fibre-glass) structure, with safety glass, central locking
system, air-cushioned seats, driver's seat offering various
adjustment options, with memory function and heater, engine
dependent water heater, air conditioning, Bluetooth hands-free
equipment, multifunction display, rear view camera, radio/CD
player with USB port, control and operating elements for driving
operation, Cruise Control and hill braking feature.
Electrical system: 24 V DC system, 2 batteries, wiring to CAN
bus component with integral self-test CSS system, outrigger
area lighting, acoustic back-up alarm, lighting system with Bi
halogen headlights; LED daytime running light; LED foglights, 4
rotating beacon warning lights. Electrical system conforms with
ECE regulations.
Optional equipment: (at extra charge)
Towing attachment, autonomous supplementary heating with
engine-preheater, ABS System, 525/80 R 25 (20.5 R 25) tyres,
spare wheel and tyre, special painting and lettering.

Superstructure
Frame: Torsion-resistant, all-welded structure with three-race
roller bearing slewing ring with external gearing, rotating through
360°. Central lubricating system.
Superstructure engine: Mercedes-Benz 6 cylinder model
OM 936 LA (Euromot IV / EPA Tier 4f), water cooled diesel
engine. The engine speed can be varied via a foot pedal. Rated
at 297 HP (205 kW) at 1900 min-1. Torque 848 ft-lbs/ 1150 Nm
(117 kpm) at 1200 - 1600 min-1. Engine rating according to ECE
R 120. Fuel tank 61 gal/ 230 l. AdBlue tank 5 gal/ 19 l, incl. level
and quality sensor and tank heating.
Hydraulic system: Three-circuit diesel-hydraulic system, 1 po-
wer-controlled axial-piston twin pump (hydraulically adjustable)
with accumulative power control for telescoping, boom elevation
and main winch, 1 axial-piston pump for the swing mechanism
and counterweight cylinder, 1 geared pump for control oil supply,
1 oil cooler and 1 supplementary oil cooler.
Controls: Electrically pre-controlled, 2 joy-stick levers.
Telescopic boom: Five-section telescopic boom made of high-
tensile fine-grained steel, consisting of 1 base section and
4 telescoping sections, 1 telescopic cylinder, extendable hydrau-
lically under partial load. 49.2 ft/ 15.0 m to 196.9 ft/ 60.0 m long.
Boom head with 7 sheaves, optionally available with another 2
sheaves.
Boom elevation: One differential cylinder with attached brake
and holding valve.
Main winch: Axial-piston variable-displacement motor, hoisting
gear drum with integrated planetary gears and hydraulically
controlled spring-loaded multiple disc brake and integrated free
rotation (no sagging of the load when hoisting). Drum rotation
indicator, hoist cable with "Super Stop" easy reeving system.
Camera system for monitoring the rope.
Slewing system: Axial-piston constant motor, three-stage
planetary reduction with foot-actuated or automatic service and
parking brake. Open hydraulic circuit with swing mechanism
lock-out. Swing speed steplessly variable from 0 to 1.1 rpm.
Counterweight: Total 299,828 lbs/ 136 t, divisible. Installation
and removal controlled from superstructure cab.
Superstructure cab: Spacious crane cab of composite steel
/ plastic design with tempered tinted glass windows, tiltable
cockpit with mechanically cushioned adjustable driver's seat
with heater, engine-fed warm water heater unit and autonomous
supplementary heater (with engine pre-heating), air conditioning,
radio / CD player, controls and instrumentation for crane opera-
tion.
Electrical system: 24 V DC, 2 batteries, 1 working floodlight on
base boom, 2 integrated in crane cab.
Safety devices: `Lift Adjuster´, electronic load moment limiter
(LMB) with LCD color display, anemometer, slewing area and
working range limitation with 'Slow-Stop' feature, hoist limit
switch, lower limit switch, safety valves protect against pipe and
hose ruptures. Fall protection system.
Dolly kit: Slewing gear unfixed & boom socket.

Luffing jibs 8.2 ft/ 2.5 m + 66.6 ft/ 20.3 m to 249.3 ft/ 76 m and
8.2 ft/ 2.5 m + 151.0 ft/ 46 m to 210.0 ft/ 64 m (light), main boom
offset positions 83°/75°/68°. Hydraulically telescopable and
tiltable jib HTLJ 7.5 ft/ 2.3 m + 33.8 ft/ 10.3 m to 101.7 ft / 31 m,
hydraulically tiltable from 5° to 60°. Telescopic boom suspension
system "Power System". 13.8 US t/ 12.5 t hook tackle, selection
of hook blocks of the type 44.1/ 40 to 275.6 / 250, 2nd Main
winch. Special paint and lettering. Further optional equipment
available upon request.
