General warnings

Read all the instructions and warnings carefully before using
this product. Failure to follow warnings and instructions can
result in severe injury, death, or property damage. Before
installation, check if all accessories are complete and without
damage. If not, contact customer service. Keep these
instructions in a safe place for future reference. Use this
product with its original parts only. vidaXL cannot be held
responsible in the event of damage or injury due to incorrect
use of this product. The information contained in this manual is
believed to be correct at the time of printing. However, vidaXL
reserve the right to change or modify any of the specifications
without notice or obligation to update existing units. Repairs
should only be carried out by a specialist or a professional and
experienced technician. Never attempt to repair the product
yourself.
2 Warnings and personal safety
• Read the operating instructions before using the product.
• Important safety instructions. It is important for the safety
of persons to follow these Instructions, since incorrect
installation can lead to severe injury. Save these
instructions.
• Attention: Risk of injury! When repairing, altering,
disassembling and disposing of the shading system, the
parts under tension (e.g. folding-arms, counter tension
systems) have to be relaxed completely or secured
beforehand. A specialist should be commissioned for this!
• Do not use the awning if it is damaged and needs repair or
adjustment.
• The side awning must be retracted if the wind speed
reaches higher than 28km/h.
• The side awning must be retracted in the case of adverse
weather conditions such as heavy rain and snow.
• The operation in frosty conditions may damage the product.
• Attention: Risk of fire! Do not use any barbecues, heaters,
cooking equipment or candles near the awning.
• Be careful during installation, crushing and shearing risks
may exist.
• Be careful with your fingers during installation.
• To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this plastic bag away
from babies and children. Do not use this bag in cribs, beds,
carriage, or playpens. This bag is not a toy.
• Danger! Chocking hazard keep small parts away from
children!

Arrange the below tools before the installation:

4 Installation instructions

1. Installation distance: The maximum distance between the
Folding screen and the Base pole should be less than or
equal to the width of the folding screen.

2. Installation of the folding screen: Mark the position of the
folding screen installation hole on the stone structure.
Expansion bolts (5) should be used to secure each
installation hole in the place. Hammer all the expansion
bolts (5) into the holes with a mallet. Unscrew the nut and
washer, put the Folding screen on and fix washer and the
nut to the bolt.
3. Do not completely tighten the nuts at this point. Check and
ensure all the holes are aligned in a horizontal line before
tightening all the nuts.
5 Note: The nut and washer might be separated from the
bolt during the process of the transportation. Put them back in
their original positions before you hammer them into the
stone structure during installation.
