PlUmBinG tHe Skimmer
The Skimmer is packaged with pump outlets predrilled in either side of the enclosures. The holes are sized to accept up to a 2" (5 cm)
flexible PVC pipe.
note: Insert the pipe into the hole on whichever side of the Skimmer is most compatible with your application. The pump outlets are
drilled above water level, so there is no need for this to be a water tight connection. The pre-drilled hole that is not being utilized can
simply be blocked off with a flat stone on the outside of the enclosure.
Skimmer maintenanCe
During the pond season, the Skimmer net and brushes can easily be removed and rinsed with a garden hose as required to remove
any dirt and debris. Biological media should be rinsed off with pond water periodically if there's an accumulation of sediments.

1. Drain the pond to below the level of the input opening of the unit.
2. Drain the water from the unit.
3. Drain the water from the floating door (if necessary).
4. Remove and rinse off all filter media and store indoors.
5. Clean the debris net.
6. Remove the pump from the unit, clean as per manufacturer's instructions, and store the pump indoors.
7. Ensure that the tubing is free of water and debris.

The Laguna Skimmer is guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship for period of (2) years from date of purchase. This
warranty is valid only under normal operating conditions for which the Skimmer is intended. The unit will be repaired or replaced at
the manufacturer's discretion, free of charge. This warranty does not apply to any unit that has been subjected to misuse, negligence,
tampering, accidental damage or damage due to faulty packaging or mishandling in transit. This warranty does not cover normal wear
of parts and does not apply to any unit that has been used for commercial purposes. No liability is assumed with respect to loss or
damage to livestock or personal property irrespective of the cause thereof. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. This
warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or repairs, service or alterations to the
product or any of its parts, which have been performed by a repair person not authorized by Rolf. C. Hagen Inc. This warranty does not
cover the Skimmer net and brushes.
