The device is equiped with an overheating protection which stops the device if overheating
is imminent. Unplug the device and allow the device to cool down for 10-15 minutes.

the device. Please observe the notices to prevent damages due to cleaning the device
incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operation.

18.1 Safety information

Please observe the safety instructions, before cleaning your device
► Unplug the device when not in use and before any cleaning.
► Never immerse the device, cord or plug in water or other liquid and do not place in the
dishwasher.
► Do not use iron brush, abradant, kitchen cleaner, or sharp cleaning tool for cleaning.
► Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

18.2 Cleaning

Clean the housing with a damp cloth.
The dirt trap map can be removed from the device for cleaning. Clean it and the lower
housing with a damp cloth or vacuum cleaner. Let the dirt trap map dry thoroughly before
replacing it. Do not leave the dirt trap map in direct sunlight or high heat.
The shoe cream dispenser can be cleaned with water and a mild detergent, then let it dry
thoroughly.
