8. Operation Control Units
All types of control units
Check if the network data correspond to the data on the label. Plug the power cord into the
power jack 1 on the device and then put the power plug into the socket. Insert the handpiece
cable into the connector 5 and screw together.
S50K BA Supreme Lab Unit (Knee Control)
The unit needs to be turned "on" with the on/off
switch ‚2'. The red light turns on. Select the desired
max. speed with the speed-selector knob ‚3'. The
rate of revolutions will be continuously variable by
activating the knee lever ‚4' into the direction of the
max. speed. By using the reversal rotation switch
‚7' (press approx. 1 sec.), the direction of course of
the motor hand piece changes. The max. speed of
the counter clockwise rotation is always limited to
30.000 rpm. The speed change from 30.000 rpm to
50.000 rpm is done by activating the speed selection
knob ‚6' (please press 1 sec).

The unit needs to be turned "on" with the on/off
switch ‚2'. The red control lamp lits. The rate of re-
volutions will be continuously variable by activating
the foot lever ‚9' into the direction of the max. speed.
The motorhandpiece stops by releasing the foot le-
ver. The speed change from 30.000 rpm to 50.000
rpm is done by activating the speed selection knob
‚6' (please press 1 sec).

The unit needs to be turned „on" with the on/off
switch ‚2'. The red light turns on. Select the desired
max. speed with the speed-selector knob ‚3'. By ac-
tivating the treadle switch ‚10', which is plugged into
the back of the unit, the selected rate of revolution
will be reached. In order to operate the unit without
the treadle switch, you need to unplug it out of the
connector ‚11'. The unit operates at the set max.

Overload protection of the motors
In case of an overload the built-in electronics will
shut itself and the motor itself off. By activating the
knee-lever, the foot pedal or the treadle switch the
motor hand piece is immediately ready for use.
