9. Operation Handpieces
The relevant motor hand piece needs to be plugged in and locked at the back side of the control
unit. To open the mechanism (for the chuck) you need to turn the grip sleeve clockwise in order
to exchange the desired rotating instrument. In order to close it again, you need to turn the grip
sleeve counter clockwise until it snaps.
Attention:
The tool change may only be performed with
the engine off.
When the motorhandpiece is not operating a
tool or the supplied pin has to be clamped in.
10. Handpiece Care and cleaning
Cleaning and changing the chuck
1. Remove screw:
• Remove slotted screw with a screwdriver
2. Open handpiece:
• Open handpiece in direction of arrow
• Remove the tool

3. Pull off the dust hood:
• Pull forward the dust hood
4. Untighten the chuck:
• Lock the shaft with a bit
• Unscrew the chuck with chuck key 100.0017
as shown
