6.3 User code management (radio controls) by means of programmer 950B
The receiver has two additional parameters that enable operations on the transmitter codes envisaged for the Rolling-Code system; the management of
these parameters is the same as that described for the four relays of the reception control unit:
TYP :
parameter related to the type of operation to be performed on the codes of the radio controls to be entered or modified
in the receiver memory table:
TYP = 0
off mode (default) : no function mode is active related to the radio control code table;
TYP = 1
reading of total number of Serial Number ID (SNI) codes memorised in the receiver table (value available in the
parameter VAL below);
TYP = 2
reading of position in memory of last SNI code received (value available in the parameter VAL below);
TYP = 3
writing of new SNI code in location of table specified in parameter VAL;
TYP = 4
deletion of a SNI code in the location of the table specified in the parameter VAL;
TYP = 5
deletion of all SNI codes in receiver table;
VAL :
value in write or read mode depending on settings entered in above parameter TYP;
1. Reading of position in memory of last SNI code received (TYP=2):
knowLEDge of the physical position of the radio control in the receiver memory enables deletion when required.
- Enter value 2 in parameter TYP;
- Exit programming phase (exit key: ) without disconnecting the programmer;
- Press one of the radio control keys to execute transmission;
- Wait for implementation to be complete;
- Enter the parameter programming procedure again and the value in parameter VAL contains the value of the memory position occupied by the last ac-
tivated radio control.
2. Writing a new SNI code (TYP=3):
The procedure for writing a SNI code onto the memory of a receiver is the same as that described in the paragraph "Transmitted code self-learning process"
with the only difference that the operation is performed exclusively on the position specified in the parameter VAL.
3. Deleting a SNI code (TYP=4):
The procedure for deleting a SNI code from the memory of a receiver is the same as that described in the paragraph "Deleting all codes from the receiver"
with the only difference that the operation is performed exclusively on the position specified in the parameter VAL .
4. Deleting all SNI codes (TYP=5):
The procedure for deleting all SNI codes from the memory of a receiver is the same as that described in the paragraph "Deleting all codes from the receiver"
.
Note: a practical example in the use of the commands/parameters described above is the replacement of a code with another in a pre-set position , the
knowLEDge of the physical position (TYP = 2) of the transmitters to be maintained in the memory (in the case of a low number) enables the identification of
the position (number) of the transmitter to be deleted from the receiver memory (TYP = 4). In the same way, the position located above in which a code has
been deleted, a new code can be entered using the command TYP =3.
6.4 Procedure for deleting codes on the receiver by means of programmer 950B
Briefly press RST, and wait for the LED LRN to turn off and then on again (activation time approx. 5 sec.): during this interval when the LED is lit, press the
key LRN for at least 5 sec. and wait for the programming LED to turn off; release the key and the LED LRN flashes quickly twice to indicate activation of the
procedure for deletion of one or all codes of the radio controls memorised on the RollingCode receiver (deletion is performed on the basis of the value en-
tered previously using programmer 950B on parameter TYP: if TYP=4 single code to be deleted in the memory position specified in VAL or TYP=5 deletion
of all codes of radio controls listed in the table): during a set time interval, indicated by the continuous flashing of the programming LED, the receiver deletes
the single radio control or all radio controls previously memorised.
6.5 Procedure for restoring default password by means of programmer 950B
The receiver envisages the option to reset the access code (password) for operating parameter when the previously set password is either forgotten or
deleted.
Press and hold the key RST and at the same time press LRN, then release RST keepingLRN pressed: the LED LRN remains lit, release key LRN and wait
for the LED LRN to light up again; during this interval when the LED is lit, press the key LRN for at least 5 sec., wait for the LED to turn off and release the
key; at this point the LED LRN flashes quickly four times to indicate activation of the procedure for restoring the factory setting for the password (default
value).
Note: if the receiver previously has the default password the above procedure has no effect (this status is indicated by four quick flashes of the LED LRN ).
