PREPARATION FOR USE

HOW TO RECHARGE UNIT
A Discharged battery pack can be charged either by itself or while still attached to
cutting head (i.e., balde/driver housing). For either method, simply place proper
end of battery pack into charger pocket and observe the color of the LED. Note:
There is a slot on the battery and a matching rib in the charger pocket to help you
properly orient the battery pack (i.e., ensure proper polarization). The following
legend will aid in determining the status of your battery.

RECHARGING REMINDERS
1. Your battery charger delivers state-of-the-art charging intelligence to maximize
the battery life, reduce safty hazards and minimize idle time for the clipper
user. This feature far exceeds typical battery chargers, but occasionally (once
every few months) let the clipper run the battery pack down until motor stops.
Recharge battery pack fully. If clipper usage is heavy and battery packs are
typically fully discharged anyway, the above procedure will not be necessary.
2. The typical charge time for a fully discharged, new battery (at room
temperature) is approximately 50-60 minutes. Actual charge time will vary
with actual usage and age of battery. Sometimes it will take less then 50-60
minutes to recharge (if the battery is not completely discharged), sometimes
it may take longer (if the battery is being used in hot environment and it
